Maine State Ferry — Frenchboro
Year-round service to Long Island: vehicle ferry Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, plus a passenger-only boat Friday. Thursday crossings need a phone “soft reservation” the day before.

Passengers, bikes, mail, and freight — no vehicles. Year-round to Great Cranberry Island, Islesford (Little Cranberry), and Sutton Island; fewer trips in winter.

Bar Harbor Ferry
Seasonal passenger ferry from the Bar Harbor Inn Pier to Schoodic Marine Center in Winter Harbor, ~45 minutes. Five round trips a day through Labor Day, four after. Fares as reported — $18 adult / $14 child one-way, bikes $10 — confirm with the operator.

Year-round mail boat to Acadia’s Isle au Haut district, ~45 minutes; in summer the boat also serves the park’s Duck Harbor landing. Passengers, bikes, mail, and freight — no cars.
